Erskineville, New South Wales

About this house sitting position in Erskineville

2 Bedroom, 1.5 bath terrace house with small courtyard, situated in the coveted inner west suburb of Erskineville. Erskineville is a rare, quiet little pocket that is still close to the city (only 2 stops on the nearby train) and easy walking distance to bustling Newtown and Enmore with their endless restaurants and shops, while still being peaceful and mellow, with a kind, progressive, community vibe. 15 min drive to Maroubra & Coogie beaches, easy walk to The Grounds of Alexandria and Zetland cafes.

The humans who live here are a tight-knit family made up of a designer/writer, a lawyer and a sassy kindergarten kid. Your new housemates will be an 8yo Border Terrier named Flea, a 12 year old black domestic shorthair cat called Trim, and two one year old cats called BoJack & Mr Peanutbutter. None of them require medication (at time of posting) and are low maintenance. Flea will require 2 walks per day.

We have a few indoor plants that will need a bit of water, and possibly the outdoor ones too if it gets particularly hot/dry. We'd love you to collect any mail and deliveries, keep the house tidy and no parties please.

Our neighbours are all good friends who can help if you get stuck. We'd like a non smoker who likes to chill and prefers PJs over parties. This house would suit a writer, artist or remote worker who likes solitude while being close to amenities. And of course, you'll have to take care of our animals as if they're your own.

Anyone planning on hosting regular guests not listed on your profile please don't apply.

The pets will need to approve successful applicant, so please make yourself available to meet them some time before the sitting period. Read more...
