About this house sitting position in Franklin

We’re looking for a caring individual or couple to house sit our comfortable, well-kept 3-bedroom, 2-living area home from 11 Dec 2025 to 8 Jan 2026. The house is fully air-conditioned, has a great yard, and is located directly across from a reserve with walking trails—just 10–15 minutes from the city centre.

Inside, the master bedroom has a queen-size bed, bedroom two has a king single, and bedroom three features a surprisingly comfy, high-quality sofa bed. If preferred, we also have a spare queen mattress available in the garage that we can set up in place of one of the other beds.

You’ll also be welcome to enjoy produce from our active veggie patch—it's on a timer so should take care of itself, and the rest of the garden is low-maintenance. Aside from possibly giving the lawn a mow, we don’t expect anything will need doing during your stay.

Your main companions will be our two much-loved dogs: Humphrey, a 9-year-old golden retriever who’s laid-back and friendly with everyone, and Miller, a high-energy, affectionate 3-year-old Hungarian Vizsla. Miller adores people and thrives with daily walks or brain games to keep her clever mind busy. She can be reactive to other dogs, so we’re looking for someone calm, confident, and experienced with pets who have a bit of character.
