Our beautiful 4 bedroom weatherboard home is on close to 6 acres in Garfield VIC.
It is private and tranquil and a great place to slow down and enjoy the charming country life surrounded by neighbouring rolling hills and farm animals. Our animal family consists of 3 horses and 3 fur baby Cavoodles. They mean the world to us and are all absolute sweethearts. We require trusted, reliable and clean sitters to keep an eye on our beloved animals and home whilst we take some recharge time away. We are looking for someone or a couple who is experienced handling and looking after horses, dogs and have possibly owned or are familar with a hobby farm environment. We also require our house to be cared for and kept clean and tidy including the occasional watering of our many indoor plants. Depending on length of booking and time of year, we may also require the watering/ maintenance of our veggie patch as well as other garden maintenance tasks which can be determined and agreed on upon booking. If you like pottering outside too, we certainly won't say no if you are up for some weeding during your stay.
Our house is mostly self sufficient with tank water systems, treatment plant, and gas bottles but our electricity is off the mains and we have starlink for internet.
Our home is cosy, vibrant and nurturing and we have a spare guest room to ensure a comfortable stay. Read more...
