🐾 House Sit & Cuddle Buddy Wanted for Sweet Rescue Dog in Perth
Hi there!
We’re looking for a kind, reliable housesitter (or couple) to care for our beloved dog Bear while we’re away.
🐶 Meet Bear:
Bear is a 10-year-old rescue dog, adopted from the RSPCA when he was 5. He’s a big softie who absolutely adores humans, cuddles, and being near his person. His ideal day includes snuggles on the couch or bed, a game of fetch in the garden, and a comfy spot to nap nearby while you work or relax.
Bear:
- Is not a fan of other dogs, so no dog park visits needed.
- Doesn't need very long walks – his ball-chasing in the yard and patrols from gate to gate give him plenty of exercise!
- Is fine being left outside during work hours if you’re out and about
- Is house-trained, affectionate, and easy to care for
- Will melt your heart with his gentle nature
Mostly, Bear just wants someone to be around, show him love, feed him, and toss the ball a few times. He’s happiest with a human nearby, but also content in the garden if you're at work during the day.
🏡 About the Home:
We live in a 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom older home that’s full of warmth and character. It’s simple but very cosy and would be ideal for a solo sitter or couple. Features include:
- Recliner couch perfect for movie nights (with Bear as your foot warmer)
- Functional and well-equipped kitchen
- Dedicated home office/workspace if you're working remotely
- Lovely secure garden for Bear’s outdoor time
- Great location in Perth with easy access to shops, cafes, and parks
There’s Wi-Fi, heating/cooling, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Bear sleeps inside, usually on the bed or couch — we’ve embraced the “fur is a part of the décor” lifestyle!
📝 Responsibilities:
- Feed Bear twice a day
- Keep him company and offer lots of affection
- Play fetch in the yard
- Keep the house clean and tidy
No lawn mowing required , please water the odd indoor plants but the focus is really Bear's care and companionship.
