About this house sitting position in Hamlyn Heights

Hi, we are looking for responsible, trustworthy, animal loving house-sitters for six weeks while we are overseas visiting family. We live in a humble 3 bedroom/1 bathroom, renovated suburban house in Hamlyn Heights, Geelong with great neighbours and our home is close to the Geelong CBD and just a quick drive to the surf coast via the freeway.

We have an adorable ginger tabby cat, Zoe. She’s a shy indoor cat who keeps to herself most of the time, and the main job here would be to feed her, change her litter and keep her indoors. We also have seven chooks who provide fresh eggs daily, as well as a low maintenance vegie garden and plenty of space to relax if there's any winter sunshine.

We also have room for a caravan should you be on the road. We have WIFI, Netflix, heating and a cosy spare bedroom with a queen size bed.

We are a low-tox, fragrance free household and we ask that no fragrances, including perfumes, deodorants, cologne, personal care products, laundry liquids etc are used at all in our house, and we are happy for you to use our cleaning products and laundry/dishwashing liquids/powders etc while you stay. This request is a non-negotiable for us due to severe allergies.

We are a small family with a baby and we love spending time together at home and in our garden or going for walks in our neighbourhood.

We’d love to meet you prior and show you around and make sure everyone is happy.We have been house-sitters ourselves and are excited to invite you into our home to care for it and our beloved pets while we are away. We also hosted house-sitters in late 2024 which was a great experience for both parties.
