About this house sitting position in Healesville

We’re looking for a reliable and caring person to look after our home and animals while we are away.

Our home is a comfortable 3-bedroom unit in Healesville in the Yarra Valley. It’s a quiet place and a good base if you enjoy nature, wineries, and the relaxed lifestyle the area offers.

We have a small crew of animals who need some company and basic care:
• Two friendly dogs who enjoy daily attention and feeding
• One cat who is a bit on the grumpy side but generally keeps to itself
• Two chickens who mainly just need feeding and fresh water (and you’re welcome to any eggs)

The main responsibilities would be:
• Feeding the animals daily
• Letting the dogs out and generally keeping them company
• Basic care for the chickens
• Keeping an eye on the house and leaving it tidy

We’re looking for someone responsible who likes animals and is happy to treat the place as their own while staying.

If you enjoy a quiet stay in the Yarra Valley and are comfortable around animals, this could be a great fit.
