About this house sitting position in Kawana Forest in Meridan Plains

Sitter wanted to care for our 14 year old stumpy tailed cattle dog in our home on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. This is for about 10 nights while we have a quick trip away.
We would like you to arrive on Saturday to meet Zorro and participate in his routine before we leave on Sunday. We are open to negotiation.

- Short 5min drive to local Dicky, Moffatt Beaches
- Approx 10/15 minute drive to numerous locations such as Caloundra or Maroochydore where you will find beaches as well as numerous shops/ cafes, boardwalks and parks
- A perfect base with many other fantastic things to do nearby as day trips.

House is furnished with a brand new queen sized bed in the guest room. There is an adjacent bathroom and toilet. New kitchen is large with modern bench tops and quality new appliances, and everything you could possibly need to cook even the most extravagant meal. The family room next to the kitchen opens on to a large deck with an outdoor lounge and dining table. There is a pool and Webber BBQ. The perfect place to sit and relax. The media room has a leather lounge and large flat screen TV. We also have high speed internet and WiFi. As well as ducted air conditioning there are ceiling fans in all rooms, including bedrooms.

We have an edible garden with fruit trees, and any produce is fine to go ahead and use in the kitchen.

We have a study with desk space for sitters who wish to work from home. And Zorro has a bed in there to keep you company.

Zorro is a 14 year old Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog. He is well trained and lovable (of course). He requires walking on lead each morning. As he ages, he sleeps more often during the day. We have taught our dogs good manners which we would like you to continue.

Zorro has been actively trained and achieved a high level of obedience. He is not allowed on furniture.

We will be away for approximately 10 nights from Sunday14th September until Tuesday 23rd September . We would like you to arrive the day before so that we can run through routines and requirements and join us for an evening meal before we leave you in our home. And then join us for a morning walk before we leave.

This would be the ideal house-sit for people who work from home or are visiting relatives in the Sunshine Coast area and need a bit more room/ somewhere to stay. It is also a great base for enjoying a relaxing holiday in a great location. Ideally we would like someone loves dogs and would care for our dog and house as if it were their own.

We have an office area available with high speed internet which is often used by sitters working from home.

We are non smokers and would prefer sitters who also don't smoke.

We would like to meet the right house sitter prior to us leaving so we can video talk before the day, you can meet and get familiar with Zorro. You would be staying in the guest bedroom so happy to accommodate an early arrival or staying a day or so extra before moving on if needed.
