About this house sitting position in Kawungan

We live high up on the only hill in beautiful Hervey Bay. Looking out off our front deck you will see gorgeous views of our city and a little further out across the ocean you'll see K'gari (Fraser Island). Our home is high set and you will
stay upstairs with our super cuddly and very loving cats and dogs. Our house is tidy but not overly fancy. We renovated it some years ago, knocking out old and building new walls and rooms. The whole house including bedrooms has an industrial floating floor. There are mats in some areas too. Downstairs is where our granny flat is. It is separate from the house and currently rented out to a very quiet young mum of 2.. We dont see the tennants often as they stay away many nights a week. We have a large well appointed kitchen complete with a coffee machine. Our living areas are open and welcoming and we have a huge bathroom with a lovely big bath tub to relax in. If you like movies our media room is the place to be. You'll love catching up on your favourite shows and movies while snuggling up to our precious dogs and cats. The main bedroom, unsuited and rear office are not accessible during your stay.
While you are here head out to the many coffee shops or take a stroll along our piers and jetties. Visit our historical museum and learn about Hervey Bay's history or spend time feeding and petting the turtles and marine life at Reef World. If your up for a short drive you could visit Rainbow Beach or Tin Can Bay to feed dolphins and swim in the surf. Bundaberg is only an hour and a half away where you can visit the Bundy Rum factory and many other places on the way. If you want to see whales we have this too. The Hervey Bay whale watching season typically runs from mid-July to mid-October, with peak viewing from early August to late September. Or why not take the barge from River Heads which is only 15mins drive from our house to K'gari and spending the day at beautiful Kingfisher Resort. We have a large kitchen with all the accessories you'll need to create some culinary magic, if you wish. We have slowcookers, multicookers, coffee maker, blender and many other items. It is a gas cooktop and electric oven. A beautiful deep bath is available to you if you'd like to soak your worries away. Double sinks and a huge open shower that has a changeable shower head including a rain option. We have all the mod cons and great access to fast internet and many streaming services. We have 5 cavoodles of varying ages but all have gorgeous loving temperaments. We aren't sure if all dogs will be at the home during the sit. We also have 2 fluffy ragdoll cats and quite a few chicken. The sit would require caring for the animals needs and watching over the house while we are overseas. Read more...
