About this house sitting position in KOJONUP
We live on a farm 11 kms from the town of Kojonup, West Australia (located in the Great Southern). Our country style home has been recently renovated and is in a peaceful location surrounded by a lovely garden with plentiful bird life. The wood fire keeps our home warm and cosy, and we will leave you with an ample supply of wood. No gardening is expected, although a little weeding, if required, would be greatly appreciated.
Gigi is our delightful little companion and house dog. We also have 5 hens and a veggie patch. If you enjoy walking/hiking/bike riding, there are extensive lane ways and trails through the farm.
Kojonup is a lovely town, which has an IGA, a hardware and liquor store, hospital, cafes and several specialty shops. Kodja Place (Interpretive Centre) and the Rose Maze are also well worth a visit.
Kojonup is centrally located in the heart of the Great Southern Region, and 260 km south of Perth on the Albany Highway. Nearby towns such as Katanning, Bridgetown and Albany can be easily explored as day trips.
