House Sitting in a Beachside Paradise – Lion & Raptor Tamer Needed (Pre-Easter Edition)

Greetings from our little slice of paradise! If you’re dreaming of a coastal pre-Easter escape, this might be the perfect opportunity. We live in a gorgeous holiday destination with stunning beaches close by and peaceful Lake Illawarra just a short stroll away — ideal for morning swims, sunset walks, family-friendly splashing, playgrounds, and BBQs that practically call your name.
Follow the lake towards the mouth and you’ll find surf beaches within walking distance. If you're carrying a surfboard, consider it your warm-up for the waves.
🥚 Your Pre-Easter Housemates
While we head off on our own pre-Easter adventure (the dogs are coming with us), our home still has some very important residents who need a stand-in caretaker… or at least someone with good organisational skills and a soft spot for animals.
🦁 The “Lions” (our cats)
Your royal duties include:
Feeding
Letting them in and out whenever their majesty demands
Calling them inside at night
Providing affection and the occasional brush (strictly when they approve)
They are fluffy, opinionated, and entirely convinced they’re the main characters in everyone’s story.
🐓 The “Raptors” (our chickens)
Out the back lives a flock of feathered dinosaurs who are far less dramatic but just as important.
Daily care includes:
Topping up food
Refreshing and cleaning water
Closing them in at night and letting them out in the morning (to keep real predators away)
They may even gift you with the occasional egg — very on-brand for Easter 🥚

The yard is tidy and great for sitting outside with a drink and enjoying the summer sunshine. Garden care is minimal — just watering a few pot plants and veggies every couple of days.
