About this house sitting position in Lyons

We have a large 4 bedroom home surrounded by a well established shady garden. A 10 minute walk will take you to a major shopping centre with grocery stores, cafes and restaurants. Canberra itself is a small city with excellent facilities and lots of nature at your door step. Our home is comfortably set up with several televisions, a streaming service (Prime), internet and reverse cycle air con.

We have 1 cat, Poseidon, a 14 year old boy. He is a large cat, who can sometimes be quite anxious, and shy. He is not a hugely affectionate cat, so not a cuddler or smoocher, though he does like a brush and some attention, when he wants it. He's an inside cat who goes outside while in a harness and attached to a 4 metre run, this keeps him safe in the backyard. You will need to feed him two to three times a day and to clean the litter box as required.

We also have 2 small aquariums that house our guppy families. There are around 10 fish in total and they only need feeding once a day. Everything for the fish is automatic, lights, heating etc, so not too much of a chore.

Minimal gardening, just weekly watering, is required, and watering of inside plants would be great. Read more...
