“Once again, I have been invited to sit this lovely Queenslander, lots of trees, gardens, and sizeable lawn Unfortunately, Queensland did not deliver the sunny warm winter I had planned! Great air conditioning though. I managed not to freeze! Not much gardening got done, but spent lots more time cuddling the two bigger boys. (Dogs) The home is beautiful, easy to keep clean. The back and front verandah are great places to have a cuppa, and a pet cuddle. The two dogs, quite different in age and behaviour. The older one is a truly delightful, older gentleman. Just loves an affectionate touch, a bit of a brush, and a couple of meals a day. Ideal! The younger pup, is variable! This food today, grazing tomorrow, he’s not starving so I stopped worrying. He loves chewing on bones, and toys. The cats are still just so easy Lovely town too ”

“I was fortunate enough to be invited back to this sit, 2 wonderful cats, the best old dog in the world, plus, a new arrival! This 10 month old pup is cute as a button. He's a pup, I'll say no more! He's the cuddliest, lickiest, most excitable pup I've ever minded! And so cuddly and good when asleep. The high set home is well set up, easy to keep clean, and in a quiet area. Sadly QLD weather didn't put on its best, so I couldn't get into the garden much at all, which I love doing, maybe another time. Maryborough is a beautiful town. Great parks and gardens. It's easy to walk to everything. Some great coffee shops around, and a couple of long established bakeries too. A really enjoyable home, and town, and about 35 min to the Bay. Best of everything. “Wonderful house sit. The owners communicated their needs, responded to my questions, making suggestions. A visit to the property prior to the sit, was really helpful, learning how to work electrical devices etc., toured the gardens, learned what I could do in the garden, but no pressure to do anything. Most importantly, I met the 3 pets. All lovely, lively, fun, easy going and friendly. Everything worked well, the animals needed to educate me a bit regarding their feeding and nocturnal curfews! I was able to do quite a bit of gardening, supervised by my "new buddy" most times. The property is close to the all important parts of town, could walk or drive to explore a bit more. Home owners very helpful with a couple of questions I had, didn't mind my phone calls, and were happy to get updates on how things were going. Great sit. ”
