Enjoy complete privacy and serenity in a self-contained rainforest studio with no neighbours. The Studio deck looks out over a stunning, bird-filled valley and offers a peaceful retreat.

Perfect for a creative, writer, nature lover, or travelling couple looking for a quiet base in the Douglas Shire.

High-speed internet is available, and the property is teeming with local birdlife.



THE EXCHANGE & DUTIES:
In exchange for 7 weeks of rent-free accommodation (including utilities), I am seeking an energetic, thorough, and highly reliable house sitter (or capable couple) to perform a comprehensive deep clean of my house and yard.



Because I am preparing for an extended medical absence, this work needs to be prioritized and completed during the first few weeks of your stay, so you can relax and enjoy the remainder.



Tasks Include:
• Interior Deep Clean: Walls, fans and ceiling, pressure washing and re-installing screens, deep cleaning the Studio space ( windows, appliances, cupboards etc.), cleaning the bathroom, and vacuuming/mopping all floors.


• Yard & Garden Maintenance: Clearing overgrown areas, weeding garden beds, pressure washing verandas/decks, clearing gutters and basic care around the immediate house area to make the property tidy and secure.


• Daily Care: General caretaking of the property, collecting mail, and ensuring the house remains secure while I am away.



WHO YOU ARE:
• Exceptionally clean, organized, and physically fit enough to handle indoor and outdoor yard work.
• Respectful of nature, local wildlife, and a rural rainforest environment.
• Able to provide excellent references.
