About this house sitting position in MYRNIONG

Renovated farmhouse on 50 acres 1 hr drive west of Melbourne CBD.
15 min drive to railway station, then 45 mins on train into city. 10 mins to major towns with schools, shops doctors etc.
We need house/farm/pet sitters for a little over 3 weeks while we travel, nothing too hard, but common sense and an ability to work things out are required. Until recently our elderly mum was able to manage most things. Checking and feeding cows, goats, alpacas and chooks, also feed and care for 2 friendly Border Collies. Approx 1 hr of duties per day, split between morning and night, then the rest of the day is yours. Occasionally tidy the garden perhaps? Great way to try a "tree change" while still within commuting distance to the big smoke.
There is some flexibility in regards to having a couple of days away occasionally, as a neighbor will be able to fill in.

Feeding stock is the hardest chore, and some
strength is required to lift bales of hay, bring firewood in, and also drive and old landcruiser ute (feeding cows). If you think that feeding the cows may be too difficult, we have neighbours who can help out. Usually, depending on the season, we can stop feeding cows by the end of September.

We may also be listing some shorter stays prior to the long stay which may help prospective minders get a feel for our farm.

Ideally we would like to meet prospective sitters in person well prior to the sit, but we understand that some applicants may be too far away.
