We are looking for a caring and reliable house sitter to look after our home and our two much-loved dogs while we are away on holiday. We live in a quiet, leafy suburb on the Gold Coast on a large 800m² fully fenced corner block directly opposite a beautiful 6-acre parkland, ideal for walks and outdoor time. The location offers the best of both worlds, being around 15–20 minutes from Mount Tamborine and 20–25 minutes from Burleigh Heads Beach. Our home is a fully renovated, comfortable three-bedroom, one-bathroom house. While modest in size, it is well set up and very easy to live in, with a secure yard and plenty of outdoor space.

You will be caring for our two friendly and well-behaved dogs, Rosa, our 4-year-old Border Collie, and Harry, our 1-year-old Bordoodle (Border Collie x Poodle). They are very social and a big part of our family. They are walked each week day morning by a neighbour and will need some afternoon exercise or playtime. They are happy to be left alone during the day provided they have had enough exercise, however they are used to having people around, so we are ideally looking for someone who will be home most of the time, with occasional day trips.
