About this house sitting position in Newport

Hello! We are looking for a responsible and caring house and pet sitter to look after our adorable golden retriever, Archie and beautifully renovated 3 bedroom house for a month in July/August 2025.

The house has a spacious open-plan living area and a large, well-equipped kitchen. There are queen beds in two of the bedrooms and a home office in the third, perfect for remote work if you need it. We have all of the comforts you'll need including Wi-Fi, streaming services, reverse cycle heating, bath tub, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher.

Archie is a friendly pup (almost 3 years) who loves attention, cuddles on the couch, walks and of course, food! The key things for looking after Archie are a walk every day and a meal both morning and night, so he's quite low maintenance. We also have a lot of great parks nearby, which makes getting him out of the house very easy.

Archie is quite energetic at the park and around new people but he soon calms down and is usually very chill around the house. He is a large dog though so it's our preference that you have experience looking after them.

Ideally it would be great if you're not someone/people who are out all day, every day as Archie loves company so we don't like him spending too much time alone. In saying that he's totally happy to be left at home, as long as he gets an extra walk and attention.
