About this house sitting position in Orange

We have a 30-acre hobby farm overlooking breathtaking Mount Canobolas and have a dog, chickens, cows and sheep.
Our home is about 10km’s out of Orange and is a few km’s to Lake and Mount Canobolas. A morning walk around the lake finishing with a coffee at the café and a visit up the mountain for sunset are highly recommended. Enjoy your days pottering on our property or visit the amazing wineries, restaurants and cafes. We are surrounded by them! There are also plenty of walks/hikes/rides around and a mountain bike trail just down the road.
Our Jack Russell Chips is 5 years old and full of character. First and foremost, you must be a dog lover as we are looking for someone that will give her lots of love and attention. The crazy puppy days are gone but she still has energy and loves a walk and a snuggle on your lap in the evening. She’s an inside dog and will follow you wherever you go. As I work from home, she isn’t on her own a lot, so we don’t like to leave her for more than 3-4 hours. My Mum lives locally and loves to have Chips visit her and is more than willing to assist with dog sitting.
We have a handful of cows and sheep that require checking on every other day. There is a pump that may need turning on once to fill the tank that fills their troughs. It's quick and easy to do. The chooks need their food and water topping up and the odd treat. They are let out in the morning to free range throughout the day and then put back in at dusk. A quick daily clean out of their house keeps it in check and don’t forget to collect their eggs! They also love to have a chat!
Aside from that, we have fast and reliable internet, lots of space, a fire to keep you warm on those cool evenings, stunning views and a lovely town to explore. Read more...
