About this house sitting position in Pacific Haven
GROUNDS PEOPLE suit retired couple.
We are looking for groundsmen come gardeners, and dog lovers, for general up keep, mowing, whipper snipping etc on a 10 acre block. The grounds are established, so it is mainly mowing, watering, trimming, gathering dead leaves and palm fronds. Good selection of ride ons and tools.
In return we offer a small, fully furnished, one bed cottage, completely self contained, away from the main house, very quiet. Has an outdoor seating area, even a 'hot house' for a vegie garden. New washing machine. TV ....small, but cosy, or there is plenty of room to park your van. Double car port, garden shed. Friendly pets welcome. Very private and very quiet.
The location is 25 mins north of Hervey Bay on the Burrum River. The river is great for fishing, crabbing, kayaking etc. We have a boat and kayak that you can use.
Basic shops about 5 km away, including Drs. Hairdresser, Chemist, IGA , outstanding Butcher, fabulous Bakery. Vannies the friendly Grocer and Hardware store, Craft shop, womens/men Clothing, Hotel, Garage, or Maryborough, Hervey Bay and Childers are half an hours drive away.
Please note: We are seeking a RETIRED COUPLE looking for a long term sit, in excess of 12 months. Some of our people have stayed for 3 years.
