About this house sitting position in Sale

The home is a 1920s Federation beauty on a large garden-filled block, peaceful and private and 5 minutes walk from cafes, pubs and supermarkets. Also 2 minutes to a beautiful park and 10 minutes to Lake Guthridge. Access to 90 Mile beach only 30 mins away.

4yo Dalmatian 'Dot' and 2yo Lab 'Betty' are delightful and each has her own pet cat. Dot has tortie 'Harley' and Betty has black 'Wednesday'. It's a circus every night of the week!

Apart from keeping dogs, cats and chooks alive and entertained, the only other job would be watering the garden and indoor plants. Other than that, enjoy the house and the pretty town and surrounds.

Naturally Victoria in winter is hardly tropical, but with a woodfire, electric heater and reverse cycle split system, you'll be toastie warm indoors :)

“Annie was super hospitable. She provided dinner on the first night. Her comfortable house remained relatively cool on hot days. The dogs Dottie and Betty were a lot of fun during their daily walks. Their wet food had been pre-cooked and feeding them was easy. Harley the cat hardly ate her food, whereas Wednesday often caught and brought mice and rats inside. There is an automatic dispenser connected to a water tank for the chooks' drinking water, which could be supplemented by manually filling their water bowls after a good clean. Their seeds were also easily fed down a plastic tube into their feeding bowl. Watering of the gardens (back and front) was done by means of two garden hoses, one of which (for watering the front garden) could have done with an extension as it could not reach the far north-east end of the front garden. ”

“Annie and her "menagerie" as she calls them were a delight to sit for, her beautiful home was very comfortable, her communication and instructions excellent. I would gladly sit for her and her gorgeous fur babes if ever in the area again. Thank you Annie ”
