Less than 2 hours by train from Sydney Airport and 1.5 hours by train from Sydney city, our home is located in the lower Blue Mountains. We look out over a wooded valley at the edge of the Blue Mountains World Heritage area. Our street runs along a ridge and is a 15 minute walk (3 minutes by car) to the village of Springwood, where you will find the train station and all of the shops, services, cafes and restaurants you could need.
We have a newly-renovated kitchen and laundry/2nd toilet; large living/dining room with western view to the bushland and a wood stove; two bedrooms with Queen beds; a home theatre/lounge; one bathroom with bathtub shower combined. The back of the house faces west and is raised above the sloping back yard, with a large deck overlooking bushland.
We have an extensive library of books, music, DVDs and video streaming, with a room dedicated as a home theatre with surround sound and a 77-inch screen. An e-bike is available for use. We have an undercover car parking space.
