About this house sitting position in St Ives

Hello!

We are a family of four (2 girls aged 15 and 17yrs with Mum and Dad) living in a penthouse apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, large terrace.

We have 2 beautiful cats - Bandit (black and white) and Chester (mottled kitten). Chester is known as "Captain Chaos" and Bandit is shy and gentle.

We have two border collies (brother and sister, Jax and Lexi). Jax is ball crazy and Lexi is snack obsessed!

To top it off there are three fish: two goldfish (Dave and Goldy) and Mrs Catfish.

We are planning on a three-week holiday from 13 December to 4 January 2026. We need an active couple, who love animals, to care for our farm!

The apartment is fully air conditioned (heating/cooling) throughout. There is full use of internet including all TV channels (Netflix, Prime, Binge, Kayo and Disney+) and gaming on X-box if this is what you fancy.

The area and building is very safe and secure there is dedicated underground car spot.

We are in walking distance to wonderful cafes, parks, shops and comprehensive bus routes to all over Sydney. It's a lovely place to live. Please get in touch with any questions if you're interested to house/pet sit. Thanks!

“We had a wonderful, though busy time staying in Claire's apartment and looking after the seven pets. The apartment is great, spacious, modern and comfortable, and within walking distance of the shops and transport at St. Ives village. Claire is fabulous to deal with, very kind and generous, good communications and detailed instructions left for us. We loved the "farm" - 2 sibling dogs, two cats and three fish, but the feeding, medication, cleaning, poop-collecting and walking does take quite a bit of time - we were glad there were two of us. In summary, a wonderful house-sit for a lovely family, suitable for a single or couple with the time available to give the animals the attention they need.”

“We had such a great time housesitting for Claire! Her apartment is beautiful and comfortable, and it's right next to shops, cafes, and everything you could need. Claire’s animals, including two dogs, a cat, a playful kitten, and some lovely fish, are all super sweet, very well-trained, and a lot of fun to care for. Each one has its own personality, and we truly enjoyed spending time with them. Claire’s communication was excellent, and the detailed guide she provided made us feel completely at ease looking after her home and pets.
