About this house sitting position in Summerholm

We are heading overseas for 3 months from 11th Sep - 7th Dec and are looking for a house sitter for our 2 beautiful Ragdoll cats. Our property is a near new 9m long Tiny Home on wheels on 40 acres of rolling hills in the Lockyer Valley. It's very tranquil with beautiful views. Whilst compact, our home has all the mod cons including Reverse cycle A/C, Dishwasher, large fridge / freezer, gas hob, well appointed bathroom, mains electric, water is from water tank, easy access main bedroom (although the stairs are quite steep so wouldn't be suitable for everyone) with separate walkway. The only thing we don’t have is an oven or microwave as we cook exclusively on our gas hob, Also, note that we have an Australian approved composting toilet (indoors), so this would only be suitable for sitters open to that concept as the compost bins will need changing once or twice during the stay. What’s more, we have a lovely outdoor seating area to take in the amazing views and lush planting around the property to make it feel cosy. No expense has been spared with the construction and fit out with solid hardwood floors and newly installed kitchen.

Our furry friends are two 3 yr old Ragdoll mink cats whom are brother and sister. They are very well adjusted and used to different surroundings and people, they are indoor cats and very affectionate and well behaved. They are used to company and love snuggles.

We have spent quite a lot of time building up the gardens around the house, so would appreciate sitters willing to take the time to tend to them as required, although we do have irrigation through much of it.

The area is centrally located between Brisbane and Toowoomba with good local shopping at nearby Laidley or Plainland. The views are spectacular located on forty acres of rolling hills and the night sky is beautiful with glimpses of the Milky Way. Plenty of parking is available.

If you are interested we would love to hear from you and happy to provide more information if required. Given the length of the sit and uniqueness of the property we would like to meet the sitter in person as far ahead of time as possible to confirm the sit will work for both parties.
