About this house sitting position in Tabulam
Expressions of interest
We are planning a six month trip overseas from mid May to mid November next year. Probably better for a couple and we will need to meet you beforehand. As our property is acreage and fully off grid a few days briefing before we go will also be required.
Property is rural, 8km from the small village of Tabulam (petrol, groceries, pub, police, post office, cafe), 62km from Casino which has Coles, Woollies, etc and 72km from Tenterfield.
We currently have a few cattle but plan to agist them out while we are away. Chooks, cat, fish, bird and 2 sheep (woolly lawn mowers) will be here and will require some feeding. There’s a veggie garden that will need watering if you want to keep getting produce. There is a ride on-mower and brush cutter if needed, but probably no mowing will needed.
House has wood heater, gas stove and hot water, dishwasher, washing machine, tv, wifi and lots of other modern conveniences. Some discretion is needed when using multiple electrical items because of being on solar. You can have our bedroom which has a king size bed and an ensuite, once we leave.
It is a very quiet environment, so if you are looking for a night life or shopping experience this sit is not for you!
