About this house sitting position in Taylors Arm
We need house & pet sitters for 11 days from 21st May to 1st June. We have a small country house on 15 acres near the village of Taylors Arm. It is less than 2 km from the iconic Pub with no Beer, 25 minutes from Macksville with supermarkets & small shopping centre, & 40 minutes from the beaches of Scotts Head & Nambucca Heads. The major centre of Coffs Harbour is an hour's drive away. The home has 2 bedrooms with a third queen bed in the second living area,1 bathroom, 2 separate toilets, internet, netflix, mobile phone coverage, & undercover outdoor BBQ area. There is a reverse-cycle air-conditioner in the living area.
We have 2 dogs who love a play & a short walk to the creek when the weather is good. One is a 16 year old cattle collie cross who is somewhat deaf & arthritic. The other is a very friendly 6 year old labrador. They are well-behaved, outdoor dogs who sleep in one of the garages at night. We also have a 9 year old cat who spends most of his time sleeping indoors.
We have a ride-on mower for the lawn if you feel inclined, but it is not a requirement.
A family member runs cattle on the property. They may be in the paddock next to the house on occasion. Read more...
