this is NOT suitable for a whole family ,
this position is more suitable for semi retired , retired people ,( single or couple ).

payment could be consider for the right candidate to cover car fuel and other expenses ,


AS I WILL ONLY BOOK MY PLANE to go overseas for 6 or 8 or 12 weeks , only when I will be totally reassure that the person minding Gus ,loves Gus and are reliable, and committed.


AS I AM RETIRED AND GUS IS NOT USED TO BE LEFT ALONE ALL DAY , his routine most days is we go to the doggy beach early morning or the lake nearby for a good 2 hours where he play and run and swim in the designated off lead area , then we back home by 9 .30 am , he rest inside the house or in the garden most of the day and then I take him to a gentle small walk and play at 3.30 , 4 pm around my house and to Noosa river as I lives walking distance to the Noosa River . i do not take him out in the heat of the day , and he is not really a dog to walk in busy space and middle of town , he is much too young and active to be sitting in a coffee shop , This are an Australian cattle breed dog , not really suitable for the city , i only rescue him as he is not suitable for a farm and he needed a person with time and energy to care for him , emotionally and physically
He is a rescue a red heeler cross kelpie and the RSPCA had to amputee his right back leg . he was find abandoned in Brisbane with and injured leg , he took me 12 months to educated him , reassure him , and channel his energy . he is not destructive at all , but he will surfer of anxiety if left alone for too long .

HE is around 2 years old , , very social and love every one and all doggies and cats ..he could play all day long .. he is good with paddling with me on the sub and kayaks.he totally love the water
GUS is a bundle of love , however he require an ASSERTIVE person who are used to chicky puppy dog . This breed need mental stimulation as well as physical , they will follow you everywhere..

in the heat of the day , Gus is happy resting inside the house .he got his own sofa , and doing his siesta as you can see in the picture .

My house is modest for ( Noosa standard) , all insulated , fan , air con , , timber floor, very private and calm large bedroom with queen bed for the main bedroom and second small bedroom available for office or storage , 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets at your disposal ,
.the property is surrounded by trees and in a very calm street of old Tewantin ( Noosa ),
large garden all fences secure , , , ..ect ..room for caravan or van to park in my property if you wish so .

it is IMPORTANT AND I INSIST ( no exception ) to meet and greed in PERSON prior to commit to care for Gus ( having been myself a doggy siter on this web site you can see my references and i always did take the time and efforts to meet the doggy or cats and their owner person prior to any commitment especially long term )happy to chat on video first BUT WE MUST MEET IN PERSON to see the connection between Gus and person
.Gus loves company , . GUS is in constant company of others doggy .


Gus is registered with Noosa council and he is insured for all events or accidents and up to date with all vaccination .And i have always on standby , a local person, Nettie at her farm , or and my friend Caroline and Emily who loves him and can mind him for few days care for him , time to time and know him in case you need to go away or emergency situation .

NO fix internet , I USED MY OWN PHONE AS HOT SPOT and it works fine
