About this house sitting position in TINBEERWAH

We live on 38 acres 20 minutes from Noosa beach in and old Queenslander. We have 3 dogs and 1 horse One is a Rescue very old Retreiver a Cocker spaniel and a Maltese that has to be medicated once a day and has fresh food cooked every morning and night as cannot eat processed dog food at all. The spaniel and maltese live indoors and have to be taken out 3 times a day for toilet The horse is very quiet and needs to be fed twice a day . The retreiver is on medication also for anxiety but sleeps most of the day and lives downstairs but comes up each night to have time with us and then goes back downstairs to sleep. She is 13 and sleeps most of the time . The dogs are fed twice a day and love a walk. You would have use of pool and there are a lot of birds if you are a bird watcher. We have a security gate so the property is very private and safe.We would prefer someone who has lived on acerage before as there are pumps, sprinkling systems etc that can breakdown (hopefully not ofcourse ) We do not mind if you have a pet as our dogs get along with most others.We have gardeners that come so there would not be much to do other than keep an eye on things pertaining to watering etc. Read more...

“Jilly and Nick are a super friendly couple that are very accommodating, kind, generous and thoughtful, and we had a fabulous time looking after their home and animals. Mitzy the elderly mare was gentle and very easy to care for, the 2 dogs are both sweet and lovable, and got used to us caring for them very quickly. The property is lovely, very expansive, with a large pond at the back covered with water lilies, home to many feathered residents. We were treated to a full immersive wildlife experience, including inquisitive and friendly cockatoos visiting the balcony surrounding the house. The house was very comfortable and we had the use of a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed, and plenty of closet space and a spacious bathroom. The pool has a wonderful outlook over the pond, surrounded by amazing gardens, we felt incredibly relaxed and enjoyed it immensely. ”

“Have a great time housesitting,and looking after 4 major animals 2great dogs and two great horses, and many birds. Had some in credible fires at night in the main house, as was so cold, as in the middle of winter. enjoyed looking after the two great dog s Which I will sadly miss lots of two horses as this time got quite close to them , the dogs again Jily and Nick invited me back this time second time and I had a wonderful stay. Hopefully do it again one day if they want me guards, Philip.????????????”

Phil was absolutely terrific with out animals and looked after our home as if it was his. It was spotless on our arrival home and he was so sweet leaving us bread and milk and a home cooked Lasagne! Can’t recommend highly enough !
