About this house sitting position in Torrens

We are looking for a caring and trustworthy house sitter to look after our home and our friendly hens while we travel overseas from 10 December 2025 to 20 January 2026. Our spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom family home is located in the peaceful, leafy suburb of Torrens (Woden Valley), offering a quiet and relaxing environment. You will stay in a comfortable private room with your own bathroom and toilet, and enjoy the use of a fully equipped kitchen, heaters and fans, fast Wi-Fi, and a peaceful garden and backyard. The home is conveniently located close to local shops, Woolworths, cafés, restaurants, and rapid bus routes, with Mt Taylor walking trails nearby for beautiful nature walks and views. Westfield Woden is just minutes away, and the city centre is approximately 11 km from home, giving you the perfect blend of suburban calm and easy access to all of Canberra’s amenities and attractions.

House sitter to be around would be required to take care of our lovely low maintenance chickens.To keep them safe. To feed them at required times.You get to eat lovely organic fresh eggs.
