About this house sitting position in Vermont South

We have a single level home in the suburban area of Vermont South, in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We have a medium sized back yard with a deck and a pool. Foxtel and NBN broadband. There is a tram line (No. 75) that runs to the city only a five minute walk away. Two railway lines are about a 5 minute drive away. We have an off leash park just down the end of the street and are close to the filming location for the TV series Neighbours. There is a small shopping centre with a supermarket 15 minutes walk (or a short drive) away. There is room for for one vehicle to park off street and plenty of on street parking.

We have a dog and two cats. Our pets are free to move in and out during the day, via a pet door, although they mostly tend to sleep inside at night. Our dog, Cookie, loves getting out of the house and is usually walked twice a day, she likes going to the off lead park for a run where she often chases birds, she also likes normal walks on a lead - basically, she just likes getting out of the house! One cat, Cupcake, is a homebody and will spend much of the day inside, particularly if it is cold. The other cat Candy, disappears for hours on end, especially when there are strangers about. All pets are in good health and do not need any particular attention.

This sit would suit someone who works remotely and likes getting out for a bit of a walk in the morning and afternoon/evening. Given the location, this sit probably suits someone with a car.

Apart from some watering, there is no garden work required. We have someone come in to mow the lawns and weed the garden. Read more...
