About this house sitting position in WATTLE GROVE
My home is a peaceful off-grid sanctuary in Wattle Grove, 5 minutes from Cygnet and close to the water. It’s surrounded by gardens, a dam, established trees, a fire pit area and an abundance of spring/summer produce. The space is quiet, comfortable and restorative — perfect for someone who enjoys nature, animals and a slower pace.
Inside you’ll find a cosy living area, a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed, a full kitchen (gas stove + air fryer), gas hot water, a bath, a small yoga/meditation spot, and fast Starlink Wi-Fi. It’s simple but very comfortable, and the wood heater keeps the space warm.
Animal care:
I’m looking for someone who genuinely loves animals and will treat them with care and consistency.
Cats:
• Bobbie is a playful little teenager who needs daily playtime and stimulation.
• Rani is a sweet, gentle snuggle girl and very easy company.
Chickens:
• Six happy hens who lay ~6 eggs per day
• Morning grain + fresh water
• Let out mid-morning to forage
• Eggs collected daily
• Coop gate closed at dusk
Other requirements:
• Keep the house clean and leave it as you found it
• Water the garden and indoor plants if the sit is long enough
• Be trustworthy, reliable and communicative
• Enjoy quiet rural living — it’s serene here
This home is best suited to someone who appreciates peaceful nature, animals, and a gentle lifestyle. You may even get to see the aurora from the property on a clear night.
