About this house sitting position in Whittlesea

I live in Whittlesea in a lovely quiet area with beautiful views. I need someone to pet/housesit from 22nd July 2026- August 1st 2026, for 10 nights. I will be home the afternoon of the 1st August.
I have a gorgeous cat, Ky who has a friendly nature and loves human company. He needs to be fed twice a day and supplied with fresh water.

Ky is allowed out the back of the house only if accompanied as I don't want him out of the property and he has been swooped by an eagle before. It is very important that he never goes out the front of the house as he has never been out there before and he will be disoriented/ upset.

Non- smoker is required who will keep my new home clean- as they will find it. Very comfortable home with air conditioning/ heating. No shoes in house please. If the weather is dry and it hasn't rained I will need a small garden watered every 3 days.

My home is a 7 minutes walk to the Bowling Club, a 12 minutes walk to the Royal Mail Hotel and a 10 minutes walk to the shops and cafes.

I would like to meet the person/s before hand and have them drop in for a cuppa the week before( or whenever they can), to meet Ky and I can show them a few things about my home too.

“Recently completed a short sit in Whittlesea Beautiful property, a couple of minutes drive to the centre of town. The owner was excellent. Provided very clear instructions regarding care of home, garden and the cat. The cat, was a breeze, except when his human returned and he chose to ‘disappear’ before he was actually sighted. After a very thorough search of the house he was not anywhere. . Then, he magically appeared, as if he’d always been there! Phew A lovely area to explore, a very easy care home, easy care cat. Quiet area, great area for walking. All good. Definitely a desirable sit. Thanks. ”

“Staying for two weeks in Roslyn's house at Whittlesea was really a treat. The house is very comfortable and Ky the cat was no trouble at all in fact we became firm friends. The bike /walking path is literally 20 steps from her front door and hills in Kinglake Park are only 20 minutes away. Whittlesea has everything you'd need and I'd gladly stay there again. Wilf.”
