About this house sitting position in Hervey Bay

We live on a 3/4 acre block in the suburbs of Hervey Bay. We are about 5 km from the town centre but have a on demand door to door bus service 6 days a week. We are ppabout 200 Metres from the beach.

There is no work involved other than looking after cats. We would prefer people who like cats and are retired. We have a pool and plenty of lawn area and trees on site. We even have kangaroos who visit us occasionally. There are a few plants on the verandah to water every few days.

The house is large with a double garage and laundry downstairs and living and bedroom area upstairs.

We have 2 cats which we love and want a loving career for them for the duration. They are little trouble as they sleep during the day. They will come in at night for a brush and cuddle. They may sleep on the bed during the night. So please only reply if you are willing to look after the cats.

Preferences
NON Smokers please only

We would prefer a mature person or couple.

Have own transport or be willing to use bus service.

Prefer that sitter not be working away from home during the day. Working on line at home would be good.

They must like cats as they are rescue cats and are like family.

The sitter must live in the house otherwise the cats will become disorientated and may wander away.

Sitter would spend a night with us before we leave to orient them to house and cats.

We are flexible with the dates as we realise it is short notice. We would intend to be away approximately 5 weeks..
