More information about this house sitter

Hello, I am a Canadian from the Toronto area who has travelled extensively during my life. I owned a language school for 30+ years which gave me the opportunity to travel throughout Europe, Latin America, Japan and Korea. While never house sitting abroad, I have done so often here at home. I’m very comfortable with dogs, but I do have a cat allergy so cannot help out in a home with felines. The picture of 2 dogs are two who I cared for for 2 weeks in Feb/Mar of this year: Poppy and Chorizo.

I have a daughter who lives and works in Melbourne and I’m looking for a stay of one or two weeks in or near the city. As this will be my fourth trip to Melbourne I know the city and my main purpose is to see my daughter, I won’t be doing a lot of tourism; maybe catching a match at the AO! (See photo from 2022!)
My sister Colleen from England will join me on this trip. I am a young 70 year-old and Colleen is an even younger 68-year-old.
Being a homeowner myself, as is Colleen, we know how important it is to maintain the home in good condition. We both have had vacation properties, myself up until four years ago, and Colleen still maintains a trailer in North Wales. As you can imagine, we know how to take care of a home, lawn and garden, and do small repairs if needed.
We both like quiet pursuits such as reading, films, playing cards, cooking and good company.
I’ve stayed in several AirBnB homes, including in Australia and would be happy to provide some of my references from the hosts.
In the pictures there's an picture from 2007 of myself and my daughter with Max, our bichon frise, who we had for 14 years. Also one of me with my daughter, her partner, and my sister Colleen in front of my house.
