Hi I'm Amanda,

I'm a single, mid-aged mature minded professional who works freelance as an events & marketing consultant which finds me working from home often. My passions are being in nature, looking after pets, fitness, gardening and healthful home-based cooking! I'm also a trained Health Coach which is something I love applying to my everyday life.

Originally a country girl from Macedon Ranges, I grew up on a mid sized farm (with my four siblings) with many animals and pets as my trusted companions; boarder cross/collie dogs, horses, cats, cattle & chooks. I still think fondly back to these memorable times and experiences and visit home & my family back in the country regularly. I have always had pets of my own; dogs & cats and have two pedigree Burmese cats (Sasha & Lily) which a friend is currently minding.

I've been a long term renter in the bayside of Melbourne, often for up to 7 years, where I've taken on a rental as if my own enhancing the garden and home property measurably with great references! I recently packed up my St Kilda East home to be closer to family as my father was very ill, sadly he passed away early September. I'm currently staying with my dear mum providing some company and care for her and her dog Louie (King Charles Cavalier). Thankfully she's in a better position to move forward in her life which provides me with space to pursue housesitting roles in Melbourne.

Over the past 18 mths I have privately house sat homes in Middle Park, Malvern, Prahran, Port Melb and Hampton with glowing reviews which I'd be very happy to share with you.

To me home is a place of sanctuary, a place of peace and relaxation. Its about creating a happy, harmonious and calm environment, with pets always making up the a key ingredient in a peaceful home and fun environment.

In terms of leisure I walk every morning (a walking buddy being ideal!), mediate & practice yoga, prefer staying in to going out, always cook at home and hold the company of a few dear friends and am blessed to have an incredibly close family (most of which live bayside & the country). I prefer music over tv, love to read, research and write.

This is a new & exciting time in my life where I hope to meet with some likeminded people where I am able to provide some care-giving and loving attention to your home, garden and beloved pets to provide peace of mind and care of your home.
