More information about this house sitter

We are a fit, non-smoking, retired Anglo-Dutch couple who have worked and travelled extensively around the globe. Young at heart, we are extremely adaptable and like variety in our lives.

We are responsible, honest and enthusiastic people who would love to watch over and care for your home and pets. As home-owners ourselves we are fully aware of the responsibility involved in looking after a house and would treat any assignment as we would our own home.

Jur is a retired International (Sales) Manager. Madeleine was an ‘au pair’ in Belgium and Germany, a tour guide in France and a Personal Assistant in the Oil and IT industry.

Six years ago, we renovated a trullo in Southern Italy and since then we have successfully managed our own summer holiday rental business.

We take care of the property entirely by ourselves, keeping the trullo and pool clean, gardening, making necessary repairs, meeting and greeting our guests and being available for them 24/7.

We both enjoy gardening; we have three acres of garden, orchard, olive grove, and vineyard in Italy. Whilst expats in Dubai we created a garden out of the desert.

We are good communicators and can provide regular bulletins to keep you as involved as you would like to be with your home.

During the period November to April we are extremely flexible as we manage our summer lettings completely online. Hence, a few years ago, we became globe trotting house/pet sitters Down Under.

A police check and references are available.
