Hello there,
We will not be able to do any houseminding or pet sitting over Christmas 2020 due to multiple factors. However, check in over 2021 in March.
We live in Victoria but have family in Queensland thus we are always traveling back and forth for visits. Christy is a an Instructor at TAFE and Thomas is an IT Consultant and Sydney is a student. Often, Christy travels with Sydney, our daughter who is 14. Thomas usually stays home and works, as well as, looking after our fur baby, Coco.
Coco is a small, Maltese, rescue dog who is 17 and has arthritis and mainly stays inside with us. We find ourselves at the vet a little more then we use to. We also have fish that live in the back water feature.
We've owned birds before we moved from the States to Australia. We know how to care for a large variety of animals and love them all dearly.
Last year, we were able to house sit in Nundah, QLD for two weeks with two very active labradoodles. They had a special diet and needed to be walked every day. We sent lots of photos and kept the owners updated with the happenings. When it was time to leave, we washed all the linen, vacuumed, tidy the bathrooms and left the house fresh for the owners return.
We love animals and know that it is a big decision to find the right person(s) to look after your loved ones. We try to visit Queensland during Xmas and usually will stay with family but would love to stay somewhere else close to Brisbane so we are not crowding out our family during the holidays. Did I mention that getting a hotel is also tough during the holidays so we are open to house/pet sitting. We wish you luck in your quest to find the right fit for your needs.
