Hi there pet and homeowners and hopefully soon-to-be hosts. I am a very clean, organized, responsible and respectful individual who is 38 single and currently working as a mindset and emotional intelligence coach in the rapidly expansive holistic wellness and performance industry on government projects designed for assisting clients in living productive healthy stress-free lifestyles. At this point this mostly involves laptop program designing and Zoom coaching meetings from home making me very flexibly free for home maintenance chores and pet care.

Due to the nature of my moving around regularly for work, I currently don't have any pets of my own so this avenue works well for me as well as pet owners. I get along great with all breeds of dogs and cats and find they take well to my calm and relaxed energy.

House sitting and Airbnb have worked well for my current work circumstance which is flexible short-medium term as I need to avoid long-term leasing lock-in contracts in case of the need of relocating.

After working for almost a decade in FIFO mining I am used to travelling light and the flexibility of versatile on-the-go work often living out of a suitcase. This has given me plenty of competent experience in taking on last-minute bookings or filling a last-minute cancellation when needed.

I am low maintenance and provide my own bedding that I place on top of the bed so there is no need for washing or changing of bedding. I will be very respectful of your property treating like my own and can assure you the peace of mind that your home and pets will be very well treated and taken care of in my care hopefully adding to your stress-free vacation and leaving your home in at least the same condition as it was left in as also indicated in my 5-star reviews.

I am seeking clean and tidy living where homeowners take pride in creating and maintaining a hygienic home space for themselves that I can respectfully maintain and leave in the same condition. I also understand that despite best efforts pets can also make messes at times and so you expect it will be my responsibility to clean up after them just as you would when they are in your care.

I am generally capable and willing to deal with any pet's special needs or medical requirements when needed. As I am working primarily from home in the North Brisbane region on a community project, I can easily spend plenty of time with pets as per owner requirements. I have very flexible work hours that will easily work around any house sitting and pet caretaking needs you require that will be my first priority.

Due to my flexibility, I have also in the past often been an asset on the Aussie House Sitters site for last-minute travel plans in need of a sitter or filling last-minute cancellations for pre-arranged agreements.

*UPDATE* Jan 2023 - I have just switched over to this site full-time now from the Aussie House sitters site due to a more convenient and safer application and contract experience for both parties involved. I have just let the yearly subscription expire on the other site this month. and due to this my profile is no longer available for public visibility. this also means that all 10 of my great reviews are also no longer visible for public view as I had been relying on them previously. as I spent most of the last year doing regular return house and pet caretaker sits for Fiona the work away nurse (review below) I only have two sit listing reviews on this new site. I can, however, reactivate the other subscription upon request for any serious considerations that are pending due to only having two reviews on this site from last year and so require a few more.

Highly recommend Daniel as a house/pet sitter. Due to an accident, my initial booked housesitter had to cancel & I needed a replacement at very short notice & Daniel contacted me. I was impressed with his info & the references he provided & met with him at my home to talk about the housesit. He is very pleasant & personable & I felt comfortable having him look after my home & quirky cats. He was organised, arrived at the agreed time to go through everything before I left, kept in touch & sent pics of the boys & updates every few days to let me know everything was ok. He had to take on administering medication for one cat which was an unexpected event just before I left & he managed admirably. When I got home the house was immaculate & cats were well cared for. I would have no hesitation in having Daniel housesit again & happy to provide references if required.
Best skills: Pets well cared for, Followed instructions, Home neat and clean, Maintained garden, Punctual, Resourceful.

*UPDATE* Jan 2023 - Wendy had invited me back to house and pet sit for her again for a 3rd year over the Christmas break for a month from the 21st of December to the 20th of January 2024. This job was however pre-arranged after the last listing sit in the middle of last year. As no listing was done again through this site this time she could not update her review. Wendy has agreed to give another personal reference for any serious considerations if need be.


Daniel or as I prefer to call him, Dan; has been house-sitting for me on multiple occasions this year, the first time was for a week earlier this year, I then went on to invite him for a further 7 weeks and has continued consistently so far. Dan has been wonderful; he sends me photos every day and keeps me up to date if I have received a parcel etc and of course the flooding situation. He has taken extreme care of my House, Car and of course my pets. I can honestly recommend him as a reliable man, who respects your home and belongings, he will love and care for your animals if you have any, my cat adores him, and trust me Monty can be very naughty and a handful, but not with Dan, which in my heart is all the proof I need of his character as a good person. I am highly recommending him to sit at your house, on the first sit, when I got home, my house was lovely and clean, and everything was as I had left it. As a fly-in fly-out nurse, Dan is a godsend.
