We have looked after over 60 dogs, 20 cats, chickens, horses, cows, sheep and pigs in Australia, England and France. We have loved each of our sits for different reasons.

We retired from our professional careers to enable us to travel. Ian is a qualified accountant and worked in the music and TV industries and Lloyd was employed as a General Manager for a large Australian manufacturer.

We are non-smokers who are clean and reliable and we promise to look after your home as we would our own. You will return to a clean and tidy home and very happy pets

Our first time using house sitters and we landed on our feet with Ian and Lloyd. They are very experienced and professional. Our cat was so relaxed and content when we arrived home. Much better than the cattery! Ian and Lloyd sent us daily updates and photos of a very happy kitty. When we returned e everything was clean and tidy, beds changed, and a lovely homemade vegetable tart waited for dinner. They even helped with replacing the garden tap while they were looking after our vegetable plot! We, and our cat, would love to have them back again.

Ian and Lloyd stayed at our home in the New Forest and looked after our little dog and two cats. They were perfect house sitters, keeping us well informed with daily updates with photos of Bella, Roly and Max, which was so reassuring. They left the property immaculate, even preparing some home made breakfast muesli, berry compote, along with yoghurt, fresh bread, milk etc to ensure that we had a lovely breakfast following our early morning return home. I cannot recommend Ian and Lloyd highly enough and would welcome them back in a heartbeat.

We were lucky enough to have Ian and Lloyd to house sit our elderly springer and hens and ducks. They have house sat for us previously so we knew that everything would go smoothly. As before, Ian and Lloyd took the utmost care to communicate with us before the sit, throughout our trip and as the sit came to an end. We returned to a very relaxed dog, happy poultry, an immaculate home, lawn mowed and supper waiting. We were not able to have a final catch up face to face but we will definitely meet up at a later date. We would recommend Ian and Lloyd most highly and are sure that others would be as happy as we are with their approach, enthusiasm and the care and attention that they take.

Ian and Lloyd were the first ones to respond to our house-sitting request and their profile and recommendations sounded amazing, so we went with them. They didn't disappoint. The rapport they quickly built with our three dogs really delighted us and set our mind at ease about going away. We received daily photos and reports about the house, garden and dogs, and little heart-warming anecdotes of what they'd discovered to do or see in our region, a region we love and which they relished exploring. We returned to a spotless home, spoilt-rotten dogs and well-tended gardens, despite the prevailing hot spell while we were away. AND.... an extra large tray of divine lasagne in the fridge as well as a stocked-up larder! Please don't book them - we want them next time!

Ian & Lloyd have just finished the third sit for our dog Boo. This time we were away for a month and as previously they were simply fantastic. Boo adores them and is now on the lookout for them when we take her on walks. Ian & Loyd managed Boo’s daily eye drops, teeth cleaning & giving her her meds, they have built a very trusting relationship with her. Their communication with us is excellent accompanied with many gorgeous photos and updates on Boo’s daily activities. On our return the house was spotless and there was a delicious casserole waiting for us. Boo looked very healthy, content and happy. We’ve already booked the guys again for a sit next month. We can’t recommend Ian & Lloyd highly enough and feel soooo lucky that we found them.

It was so lovely to welcome Ian and Lloyd back to our house to once again care for Georgie and Louis for a period of five weeks. I'm convinced that the puppies were disappointed when they saw us come home. They had had a wonderful time with Ian and Lloyd and were taken out daily. They were in excellent health, particularly Georgie who has a few health problems. The house was immaculate and garden was looking fabulous! Nothing is too much trouble for Ian and Lloyd who kept us up to date on how the puppies were going and if there were any problems at home. There are occasions in life when one is fortunate to stumble across something truly special. It might be a private, sandy cove; the perfect pub, an adrenaline filled white-water raft experience, or an undiscovered travel destination. These moments can present a conflict... you want to share them with your friends, with All the world to experience, but a cheeky part of you also wants to keep it for yourself. Hence I find myself with a dilemma. I wish to tell everyone I know about Ian & Lloyd. To share how caring they are, how much our fur kids adored them, to say our house was spotless and talk about all the little extras that mean so much. But! Then they may get too busy to housesit for us again! So, you see my dilemma. However, I must put my pets first... and your pets first... by saying if you are lucky enough to have Ian and Lloyd housesit for you, then you are lucky indeed.

Once again, we were delighted that Ian and Lloyd were able to pet and house sit for us. We can't believe how fortunate we have been to find them and work hard to fit our activities around their availability. We are tempted to leave an ordinary review in a sneaky effort to keep Ian and Lloyd to ourselves!
However, from restaurant recommendations for our break, to leaving homemade breakfast and snacks they had so kindly made for our return, coupled with a spotlessly clean house including washing done, beds remade with clean sheets, they are definitely AAA sitters we could not recommend highly enough. Communication was brilliant, demonstrated by the never ending array of photos showing Barney's amazing break on a myriad of walks and touring the Sunshine Coast with his new friends.
Any one who is lucky enough to snaffle these guys will be blessed!

Wow and Wow!!!! What a dynamic duo Ian and Lloyd are. Right from the first point of contact, I was met with such enthusiasm and professionalism. Its not easy to up and leave your home and pets to strangers, but Ian and Lloyd never left me with that feeling, just a genuine and kind and dedicated nature to the task.

I think we were really blessed. From the time of their arrival they swung right into action allowing my husband and I to prepare for our departure. We have a beautiful old girl named Tilly. During their stay they kept us up to date, with daily photos and information regarding Tilly.

Our Tilly was the picture of health and so happy emotionally. Ian and Lloyd are great people, I always felt they were more family to us. They just make you feel so comfortable.

If you ever have the golden opportunity of having these guys sit for you, jump in and grab it. You wont regret it. I still think our Tilly looks for them each day. Apart from the 100% care they give to the animals, the house was kept immaculate, and we arrived home to a cooked meal which was delicious and helpful as we were tired from our travels.

Thank you Ian & Lloyd so much......we do hope that we can have you sit for us again in the future......

Ian and Lloyd were outstanding Doggy and House Sitters. I feel extremely privileged to have been able to utilize their wonderful skills on this, our first foray into using a sitting service. From start to finish they were nothing short of professional and friendly, Daily updates of our Doggy were very much appreciated as we were away for 7 weeks. The communication with Lloyd and Ian whilst you are away gives you a sense of complete trust in their service. We came back to a beautifully clean house, provisions in the fridge, a lovely homemade carrot cake, and a doggy who was so well looked after and loved that he is missing Ian and Lloyd's constant companionship. Ian and Lloyd are the perfect housesitters. We felt completely at home with them on first meeting and we had regular communication about the pets during our time away. I think our mini-dachshund is missing their care and walks twice a day! On our return we found our house spotless and supplies in the fridge including a home-cooked quiche and slice. This is our second review of Ian and Lloyd but I couldn't not comment. We returned home today after a wonderful holiday overseas which was made so because we were 100% confident that our much loved animals and our home were in safe and caring hands. We were met today by 2 beaming dogs and 2 sassy happy cats, a beautifully clean house, a very well maintained garden and, a wonderful lunch which we shared during a very thorough handover. We highly recommend Ian & Lloyd as house/pet sitters. While away we received regular updates and photos of our Labrador Bronte's outings and happiness while we were away. She was exceptionally well looked after and she is now missing them. We arrived home to a clean house, mowed lawn and prepared dinner which was so nice after a long journey. We hope they may be able to come back another time when we are travelling but also hope to keep in touch anyway.

We required a house/pet sitter for a period of 7 weeks and we really hit the jackpot with Ian and Lloyd. Ian and Lloyd sent us regular pictures and updates and handled everything that came up over the stay (including a broody hen!).They say the best thing about going away is coming home and in this case that was so true, the house was immaculate, the pets were thriving and other personal touches were most appreciated after being away for so long. We would highly recommend Ian and Lloyd as I can't imagine there would be anyone better.

Ian and Lloyd were truly amazing house sitters. Our cat was looked after wonderfully and we were kept up to date with posts on Instagram and texts. We arrived home to a spotlessly clean house and breakfast in the fridge for the morning after getting home very late from an overseas trip. To top it of, there was a delicious sweet slice in the fridge, which I'm ashamed to say is nearly all gone in less than 24hrs! Thank you so much guys. You made our trip a lot less stressful.

Where does one start. These guys are simply the best. We holidayed overseas for an entire month. During this time Ian and Lloyd kept us up to date via what's app with pics and blogs from their Instagram sight of our little dogs day. The pics were so appreciated not to mention entertaining. We returned after our month to an amazingly perfectly kept home. In fact we mentioned it looked even tidier than we left it. Ian and Lloyd are definately true to their word they put our pets interests first (he went everywhere) Even to places we haven't been. They maintained our gardens beautifully. No easy feat as we have a large Poinciana in flower!! The best days work ever was finding these guys on this site. 10 out of 10. We only hope they won't be snapped up and too busy when we next holiday. Can't thank them enough

Great friendly guys, came around for dinner the night before we left to meet all the animals and the family which gave us huge peace of mind. Took great care of the house, garden and pets and sent us daily updates which was amazing and even had dinner waiting for us when we got back. Would definately ask them again if they were available.

Highly recommend Ian and Lloyd , apart from being super nice , friendly , clean and trustworthy , they looked after my 2 dogs , a Boston terrier and a bulldog really well . They instant became friends and treated my dogs like their own . Daily walks , updated everyday whilst me and my husband were on holiday for 2 weeks . We got back and the house was clean and well maintained . Dogs was well looked after and they did all that we have asked them to do . We cannot recommend them enough and will for sure going to have them again looking after our dogs in the near future .

This was our first experience using Aussiehousesitters and we were nervous about leaving our animals and home in the care of people we didnt know. Once we met Ian and Lloyd however we were immediately at ease. During our handover they were very thorough in clarifying our needs and expectations and went out of their way to reassure us. They communicated with us daily with text messages and photos and took such very good care of our pets, house and garden and we were able to enjoy a break. They clearly love animals and ours will miss them. I cannot recommend Ian and Lloyd highly enough. They are fabulous pet and housesitters and I'm booking our next holiday in with them ASAP. I cannot recommend Ian & Lloyd highly enough. They took to Lucy from the moment they met her, and provided me with almost daily photos of her adventures [she seemed to be enjoying herself way too much, just saying!]. I then returned to a lovely clean home, & a beautifully tidy yard. I can't thank them enough for the great care they took of my pooch and my home. We both look forward to having them back when our schedules align. (I'd like to give them a 1☆ rating so I could keep them to myself!)

We came home to an immaculate house, happy, healthy animals and supper in the fridge.... While away we had regular updates via a WhatsApp group which was brilliant. Ian and Lloyd go above and beyond, and we were so grateful to them for the time, effort and care they took over every aspect of being here, and VERY much hope they might come again!

It’s a hard one to rate but if you are lucky enough to get this couple to stay in your home you will be very lucky. They are kind, thoughtful and considerate. The house when we arrived home was lovely and tidy all the beds remade and bedding washed, a dream really. They are also very nice to be around have a great sense of humour and wanted to know all about our woofing machines, Layla and Jess. They followed our instructions with regard to feeding etc. Both of our girls were happy when we left and that is a big plus, it meant we could relax and enjoy our holiday. Thanks so much you two and especially for the lovely quiche and ratatouille you left us for supper not to mention the chocolate cake.

Ian and Lloyd were fabulous house-sitters for us last week. They threw their hearts into looking after our dog, Nelson, and took him everywhere. We enjoyed a lively and humorous WhatsApp conversation during our week away: seeing photos of all their exploits in and around Cambridge, sharing info on walks, sites to visit, cafe and restaurant recommendations etc. They certainly packed a lot into just one week.

When we returned our clean house was even cleaner and Nelson was very happy and well cared for - they really go the extra mile to make the house-sit a happy experience all-round and we are extremely grateful to the pair of them. Robin, Nelson and I would recommend Ian and Lloyd whole-heartedly and hope they will be back!

What can I say, can’t praise these two guys enough, they exceeded our expectations, not only did they provide the best possible care for our two mad dogs they also looked after our home extremely well, we could not have wished for more. We were sent daily updates with photos of the dogs on their walks and their antics, they kept the house clean, watered our plants and as I said were wonderful with the dogs and cared for them as if they were their own, we hope one day they will sit for us again and I know our dogs would be more than happy for them to come back, they were excellent.

We have had an amazing experience with Ian and Lloyd. Such lovely caring people who looked after our animals (2 elderly dogs, 2 pigs, 2 chickens), our home and garden brilliantly over 3 weeks. They sent daily photos and updates, left us with a delicious meal for our arrival home and everything, inside and outside, was immaculate on our return. Their communication before and during the stay was great. We can’t recommend them highly enough and anyone who is lucky enough to have them house sit will be assured of a very positive experience. Their kindness and confidence to deal with anything allowed us to fully relax during our time away. We would choose them to sit for us every time if that were possible.
