We are a Dutch couple who met in 2000 in Amsterdam, got married in Sydney in 2008 and are now the proud parents of Emma Louise.

Mirjam is finishing her PhD at home (at the University of NSW) and Rob just took a break to take care of Emma Louise after he had his own company for eight years and worked for 15 years for several companies such as ING, KPMG Australia and Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS).

We just sold our house in Katoomba (Blue Mountains) and will move to our next place in April 2018. Meanwhile we would love to look after your pet(s) and house. In previous years we have looked after two dogs because we were asked by friends in Maroubra and Byron Bay. When we still lived in the Netherlands we had a cat and two dogs (Dutch Shepherd and a Ridgeback).

Since we moved to Australia in 2007 we didn't have any pets ourselves because we were travelling too often: Mirjam for academic conferences all over the world and Rob for his work. So we see this as an opportunity! Up to and March 2018 we will not travel except for looking after our friend's dog Buddha again in Byron Bay (9 December - 6 January).

We are a reliable and tidy couple with excellent references if needed.
