We are an active, non-smoking, reliable couple who are highly regarded by owners of all homes and pets we have cared for (references will be provided on request).
With considerable experience in house-sitting, we have cared for gardens, pools, birds,chooks, cats and an assortment of much loved dogs. I completed a degree in Social Science at the Sunshine Coast University after leaving my position as a Customer Service Officer with a 14 year employment history with the NSW Department of Community Services (Security and Police checks a condition of my employment). John has been in
Procurement and Distribution management for organisations such as Boral Timber and the Northern Rivers Area Health Service and currently heads up the procurement team in a large Gold Coast hospital. We began our housesitting adventure over ten years
ago after taking leave from our jobs to spend some time teaching and working in a Cambodian orphanage and school. On returning to Australia we decided to give housesitting a try whilst we travelled a little, however after being offered a number of long term housesits on the Sunshine Coast we eventually decided to remain in this area until I completed my degree.

I have since commenced a full-time job on the Gold Coast as a Language teacher.

We have owned homes and pets (including poodles, cats, cockatiels, chooks etc) and maintained our own vegie and native gardens and understand the value of caring for a home. We love children and animals, we are clean living, house proud people and we treat the homes and possessions of others with a great deal of care and respect.
We have excellent references from previous house sits, as well as character references. We look forward to hearing from you if you are interested in having us care for your home and pets.
