Hello Lovely People ,
Garry and I are so grateful to have had many opportunities to look after homes with fur, feather or finned precious ones in it. It is when we look after your home and precious ones that we feel we become their loving replacement family.
As a couple who have been 'Empty Nesters' for a few years now, we have been fortunate to have been able to spread our wings and land in homes that need to be looked after.We have done most of our house/Bub sitting on our beautiful east coast and as of the end of July ( after our 1st daughter's wedding ) we are looking at going up to Cairns and surrounds but who knows where life will take you . When we house sit we prefer the home to be 'homely' with cats and/ or dogs as they fill us with much love.
Why ? Well I think we are still heartbroken from losing our dear lab / retriever Pumpkin on Christmas Day 2011 as well as a dear feline before that. To mend our hearts these days we lovingly look after other people's babes knowing that there is ' No place like home' for your dear ones when you have to go away or need a well deserved holiday.
I, Annette, am a RSPCA POOPS (Pets Of Older People ) trained pet carer as well as a volunteer with the local pound in Wodonga . I am also a self confessed animal whisperer as I understand animals very well and they, I joyfully claim, understand that. I must warn you though, if you take Garry and I on , your babes will be spoilt with cuddles, walkies, talkies and so much affection that they may not remember you until you come back!
We will also keep your home tidy and running safely and efficiently . Garry is so good at all things that involve house maintenance as he built our beautiful Hebel brick home and a great deal of our furniture . He also loves gardening of all sorts and I also find it therapeutic.
We are very healthy, fit and non smoking individuals. Garry loves to play golf, tennis and anything that is sporty. I love to dance , jog and lovingly connect with all animals .

We have just returned after an almost 2 weeks holiday. As we have many pets ( 2 dogs, 1 rag doll cat, 2 Guinea Pigs, 2 love birds and fish) we always use house sitters when we are on holidays. Annette and Gary are the best house sitters we've ever had. From the initial contact till the moment they drove out of our street, they were so lovely. 2 of our pets have chronic illnesses and need daily medications. Our old dog needed to be taken to the vet for an injection. Nothing was a problem or an issue. Our old dog often bites herself when we are away as she gets stressed. None of that when Annette and Gary were there. ( in fact I spotted a small bite 2 days after they had left!!!) On our return, the house was immaculate, the lawn was mowed and we came home to a delicious home cooked dinner! All the pets were very happy, cages were clean and the dogs were so relaxed and loved. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Gary and Annette as your perfect house sitters. I hope we can use their excellent service again in the future. Annette and Garry house sat for us while we were away the week between Christmas 2015 and new year 2016. They also looked after our two dogs. When we returned home, the house was immaculate, the dogs were extremely happy and well cared for, and there was even dinner in the fridge for our whole family for that night, and dessert. Annette and Garry were the perfect house sitters, and I would recommend them to anyone wanting their house and pets looked after with extreme care.
