More information about this house sitter

We are previous owner/ principals managing a family agribusiness on an intensive rural property in the South West slopes region of NSW. For many years we were involved in managing both plant production with cropping and sheep and cattle livestock enterprises. We also had a close affinity with our sheep dogs including Belgian sheep dogs, Border Collies and Kelpies.

Following this I embraced a late career change and after further education I established myself as a freelance photographer and then set up an advertising commercial photography studio as my own business; also working for government.
My wife Julie is a specialist Adult English Language teacher, teaching English to speakers of other languages.

We are non-drinkers and non-smokers. We both respect your privacy and personal property as if our own. We both appreciate fine things and enjoy artistic and creative endeavours. We are resourceful and have the required skill sets for careful care and management of your home and contents and those extra special family pets.

As keen social observers and a photographer with an eye for detail we have been avid travellers and have travelled widely to many parts of the world for both cultural and cuisine experiences enjoying the cultural exchanges and personal development that travel brings.

Over the the years we have been very reliable and committed house sitters in the ACT, Sydney and Mollymook in NSW, the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland, Wangaratta in North Eastern Victoria and a number of places in Paris city and regional France for both family, friends and recommended associates.

Post work, we are excited with the prospect of more house sitting opportunities in the near future. We look forward to making new contacts and possible repeat sittings as we plan our next phase of life with an interest in further travels both within and outside Australia.

In our travels we have also stayed as guests with many Airbnb hosts so will include some of their references.

Ron and his partner and friend were very easy- going and friendly guests . They are obviously experienced and independent travellers. They enjoyed exploring the area and appreciated the peace and comforts of the studio to come back to. I can recommend Ron as a friendly guest who treated the studio as if was their own place.

In one word Wow! It was a real pleasure hosting Ron & Julie and they were quite possibly the most lovely guests you could dream of. They were very charismatic and so easy to talk to about everything with such warm and charming personalities it really felt like we were having family stay rather than hosting guests :) It was interesting to chat with them about their stays through Airbnb and how some of their adventures had gone so far. We had wonderful communication from the start and it was amazingly thoughtful the way they left the apartment making check-in/out a breeze and also providing little tips for future guests :) Certainly, anyone would be lucky to have them stay! Highly recommended!
