Hi, Jake and Racquel here.
We are an active, healthy and conscientious couple who take care to live ethically and sustainably. We are tidy and organised, and like to stick to a routine. Jake is the manager of a beauty salon and also works two mornings per week at a gym. Racquel is a high-school science teacher who is currently on leave while studying a masters in environmental management. We are involved in the Brisbane community as volunteers for a couple of different organisations and spend our free time bouldering (rock climbing), practising yoga and exploring the outdoors. We love house sitting as we like to travel and it gives us flexibility between travels. We also love animals but are not currently in a position to own pets ourselves - we love that house sitting gives us the opportunity to take care of other peoples pets.
Racquel has grown-up on a property with horses, dogs, cats, birds and chickens and has a lifetime of experience caring for all sorts of animals. Jake has always loved animals of all shapes and sizes and is often called in to pet sit for his friends when required. We are both very responsible and caring with all animals and are comfortable sticking to feeding and walking routines, behaviour/training management, and all other responsibilities - fetch and cuddle time included.
