INTRODUCTION:
We are an Australian couple who are travelling Australia in our converted box-truck camper named Betty.
We have lived overseas in Scotland, Ireland, France and most recently Perth for 6 months.

Kelly is an aspiring farm-owner, homemaker and brewer! With 10 years of working as a chef, plus experience in disabilities support/caring, Kelly is always on the lookout for a new challenge and is an animal lover (see below!)

Mike builds websites, builds apps and helps businesses setup/improve their marketing. He has done this for 8 years. Mike previously also worked in property management / ski chalet management in France and Austria and has worked in media (print/radio/online). He loves to help out friends and family with anything technical related and offers help in learning anything digital. Mike sometimes freelances and works remotely.


A LITTLE ABOUT WHY WE ARE HERE:
We are practical minded and we love a challenge. We are looking at having our own patch of grass in the next year in the Southern Highlands of NSW.

Until August 2017 we are travelling our way back to the East coast for work and home commitments. Currently we have have moved on from our rental unit in Subiaco (references available for this also).

We are now revisiting the South of Western Australia. In April 2017 we will continue North to the Top End for the dry season.

EXPERIENCE/CAPABILITIES:
Whilst travelling around the country we have used our skills helping with garden, machinery and maintenance work on a brewery in Esperance.

General duties and animal care (more below) is fine and we have cared and owned for both dogs (big and small) and cats. . Garden care and mowing and farm animal care is also OK.

ANIMALS:
We are lucky to have a brilliant travelling companion- our cat named Coco. She is 15 years old. She doesn't have a hunting instinct. Coco isn't a risk to any wildlife or other animals and can look after herself around them. Coco is a real delight of a cat, with a soft nature and she is content to sleep all day in -
and remain in our truck!

Our animal credentials are second to none - we have both volunteered at the Animal Welfare League in Queensland in the past.

SOME OF OUR OTHER INTERESTS:
Some of our other interests include music & festivals, playing Guitar and Ukelele (Mike), Food (both of us!), travel, Craft Beer, movies, animals, outdoor adventure (mtb, motorbike, watersports and others).
