I have two dogs, a standard and miniature Schnauzer 10 years apart, and throughout my life I've grown up with dogs around me. They are practically akin to being my siblings or children, and as a result of my upbringing, I've established a passion for talking care of dogs, and cherish every moment I have with pets. I thoroughly enjoy ever interaction with animals, big or small, and will utilise every opportunity to treat them well and ensure their safety, health and wellbeing.

I am personally am an active individual, invested in my weight training and working part-time at the university gym, I recently graduated from. As a result of this, I have been able to incorporate an active lifestyle into pet care, and maintain my pet's health and wellbeing; and I can readily do so for your animals. I fully understand and appreciate the strength of the bond between pet and owner, and that is why I'm an excellent candidate for a petsitter.

Furthermore, I am a prospective medicine student taking a gap year off after finishing my Bachelor of Science with a high distinction average. I am a driven, highly capable, very clean and passionate individual that has always prioritised people interactions and developing skills to assist others. Whilst studying full time in 2021, I was in a leadership position within one of the residential colleges where I was responsible for the mental and physical wellbeing of 35 residents and facilitating community building opportunities. I have taken away an advanced capacity to build rapport with individuals, high level emotional intelligence communication skills, experienced mental first aid training and a passion to improve the wellbeing of those around me.

I have recently moved back to my family home after living on on-campus accommodation for my gap year before travelling. I am invested in house sitting as a way to minimise interactions with my father who is currently severely immunocompromised and a ready solution to prioritise his health. Whilst I have only house/petsitted informally for family friends and neighbors, I am a friendly and engaging individual who will endeavor to respect your house and tailor my experiences to your pets needs.
