Both aged 72 living in our apartment in Hawthorne , Brisbane .Have travelled overseas regularly and now would like to experience more of what Australia has to offer.We left Sydney about 40+ years ago to buy a business in Lismore .
My wife was a schoolteacher and I was a computer analyst/programmer in Sydney at the time ,but was silly enough to buy my own business away from the "rat race".
Retired to Brisbane 14 years ago but I soon got bored with the lifestyle although my wife enjoys the social scene ,tennis ,bridge etc.
I followed up an advert for bus drivers with Brisbane Council (never thought I would be a bus driver} .Finally retired this year after 13 years service . Two married sons in their 40,s.
Looking for new endeavours.
