More information about this house sitter

I love all creatures, great and small, and innumerable members of the plant kingdom too. As a respectful, aware, and considerate person, I care for life in all its diverse shapes, sizes and forms. I am very mindful of looking after my immediate environment and the health and well being of all in my care. This approach to life, my resilience and my diverse set of practical skills, has developed over many years as a teacher in regional and remote Australia.

I recently retired from working with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Broken Hill, Wilcannia and northern NSW. I'm now studying a three-year Dru Yoga Teacher Training course. I'm also studying Spanish language. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina. I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living. I'm a keen gardener and I enjoy tending the gardens of others.

Over the last 2 years different sets of friends, who’ve travelled overseas or interstate, have asked me to house sit and care for their animals, plants and property, in both urban and rural settings On their return they have been more than happy with the care their beloved animals have received and with the well kept condition of their property. They gladly provide excellent references.
