Hello!
Maria and I are conscientious, non-smoking houseowners/pet lovers with our own housesitter already in place for a year. We know, therefore, how important this process is for you. We have also owned and operated our own holiday cottage business for eleven years, so we are capable and handy. We will take great care of your home. As registered teachers, we have been fully vetted and both have current 'working with children' certificates from NSW.

We have taken a year off work to complete the second year of a Master's degree by distance learning, basing ourselves in Queensland (Feb 2016- Feb 2017) during this time. (An Internet connection would be very helpful for our studies, but it's not critical).
Our three adult children all live independently and work as health care professionals. We also have two lovely grandchildren.

We'd look forward to the fun of looking after your pets too, unless it's an elephant, but we'd probably give that a go with good instructions! Our last dog, a beautiful German Shepherd (See photo), passed away a couple of years ago and we still miss him. We plan to try to breed from him next year as we were lucky enough to have stored his reproductive contribution before he died.
