More information about this house sitter

I am a mature and responsible female in my mid 50’s. I am a huge animal lover so dogs, cats and birds have been a feature in the home for much of my life.

I have experience in owning and looking after properties in Sydney and in the UK, all with pets. I am currently looking to pet and/or housesit in the Sydney area, short or long term. I am a non-smoker, very house proud, tidy and clean. I have a Police check available on request.

I am an semi retired IT professional and am happy to say I only work on contract for part of the year which allows me to travel and house sit for the remainder of the year and visit friends and family in both countries. Being on the move makes having a pet impossible at the moment, so pet sitting allows me to share my love of animals.

Housesitting provides me with the freedom to travel, meet new people and animals and generally broaden my horizons. I am able to work for part of the year or work sporadically when I feel the need. I have close family in the UK and Sydney so love travelling between the two countries and anywhere in between. I am a citizen of both Australia and the UK and have properties in Australia which are rented so I don’t need to be involved with regular up keep.

I am not tied down to specific times I spend in different countries meaning I am flexible on short or long term sits.

I have owned multiple properties over the years, looked after the house, husband, daughter, pets and garden so am well versed in life. I have travelled extensively in recent years and always look forward to spending my time with different people and animals. I am energetic, fit and healthy and love the outdoor lifestyle. I am very trustworthy, morale, organised, financially independent and am gaining more wisdom in life every day. I am also a sensitive soul so I understand the concerns you might have about your pets, home and household contents when you go away. I would treat your home and pets with respect as if they were my own for the duration of the stay.

I feel I am very intuitive and affectionate with animals. I am comfortable in their company and feel capable of maintaining and monitoring their health as I would any other member of my family. I am quick to spot signs of distress and know how to act in an emergency. I know animals have an instinctive awareness and the fact I usually bond immediately puts the house owner at ease.

I am used to caring for property and dealing with day to day household issues. I will happily email you on a regular basis and send photos of your pets if required. Read more...
