My name is Emma, I’m a 33 year old single Mum to a beautiful 20 month year old Son, named Jett. I have been living with my Grandparents for the last 2.5yrs (Jett’s whole life) in a small town about 4 hours south of Sydney.
My first baby was a 4 legged fur baby, named Frank. He is my 7yr old staffy and I’ve been fortunate enough to leave him in the safe hands of my Grandparents until Jett and I are settled.
I decided a few months ago to relocate to the Gold Coast to be closer to my girlfriends and to give Jett more opportunities then he would have in a small town. We had so much fun driving up North, I just wanted to keep going. I have loved travelling since I have been able to so I thought, before Jett starts school, why not make the most of it. I found this website and joined straight away! The opportunity to housesit for others means Jett and I get to explore different parts of the country, make friends with lots of different animals (filling my frank void whilst he isn’t with me) and the best part is that I can now save to buy our own home eventually.

I am very neat, tidy and respectful of others property and ensure my Son is the same. I always have a bag of ‘Jetts things’ that he takes with us everywhere.
Also, as Jett has grown up with Frank he is great with dogs. He has also spent a lot of time with my Mum who has 3 cats so he’s great with cats too. As far as he’s concerned .. ‘doesn’t everyone have a fur baby?!’
We have been on the road since the start of June and right now we are in Queensland. The plan is to continue chasing the warmer weather, so, North it is but I’m open to invites all over Aus.

Jett and I are early risers which means we also early to bed! You can rest assured we will always be home at night. Jett also has a 2-3hr day sleep so we are mostly always home for that.

I am an animal lover through and through and very efficient in following instructions on how to care for your pet just as you would. Jett goes with the flow - if your pet like to play then they have an instant best friend - if they like to be left alone I make sure Jett does just that.
I have no problem with inside pets or pets sleeping on beds.

I can guarantee when you return from your holiday your house will look like you never left - meaning, I will keep it just the way you do!

I also understand children are not for every pet or household so I will not be offended if this is the case for you.

For Jett I also have baby locks for cupboards and draws (when needed), a portable high chair, his own plastic bowl, plate, cutlery etc. and of course he has a bag of his favourite toys.

I also have an up to date police check.
