We are 2 Aussie females in our late 40's who have been very happily moving around the world as FULL-TIME PET & HOUSE SITTERS since early 2013.

Our references from over 40 home owners who we have loved sitting for, sometimes many times over during the last 5 years, are attached to this profile as individual documents from each year (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017). We can also provide phone and contact details for verbal references if you prefer.

We have also attached Jodie's police check and Nat's Certificate of employment with the Australian Federal Police.

A bit about us...

Natalie enjoyed a 13 year career in the Australian Federal Police, and Jodie has over 20 years experience in hotel and resort management, tourism and hospitality throughout Australia. We bring this knowledge, care and responsibility to your home.

To say we love house sitting is an understatement. As natural teachers, we have spent the last few years helping others get started as confident and caring house sitters through our online course, the 'House Sitting Academy' and our own private network of quality sitters.

This work does involve us needing good reliable internet on any house sit we take on, but since the majority of our time is spent working online, we would spend most of our days and nights at home with your pet/s.

WHAT WE BRING TO YOU...
OUR BACKGROUNDS -
We are a vibrant & active couple who love animals & nature, connection and learning about new cultures and people. We bring our vitality to your pets and property, to spend quality time with your animals each day, giving them the same love & care we have given to our own pets since we were young, and to care for your property.

Nat's 13 year career in the Australian Federal Police (certificate available on request) was spent largely in VIP Protection looking after the Australian Prime Minister, overseas Heads of Government, and various royal families, and a further 6 months in East Timor serving with the United Nations.

Jodie has over 20 years tourism and hospitality experience, managing and maintaining various sized properties and Resorts all over Australia.

We have both grown up with many pets in our lives since very young (including a many varieties of dogs, birds, Diamond Pythons, and tropical & freshwater fish) so having pets and looking after them is second nature to us; In fact it is strange not to have pets in our lives. We now always choose house sits with pets where we can.


OUR PREVIOUS HOUSE SITTING EXPERIENCE -
Between us we have done over 40 house & pet sits over many years in various countries, which has taken us from extremely remote rural properties, to snow environments, tropical jungles, the inner city, suburban and smaller village life.

Along our journey we have also had to deal with extremes of climates and environments, from humid rainy season jungles, hurricane season in the Caribbean, sub-zero snow conditions in a number of Canadian & US winters, to living at altitude (3000+ meters), and are equally comfortable in all.

We have also been involved in the professional training of several dogs we have minded.

Due to Jodie's background, some of our assignments have included the management of in-house staff, B&B's and holiday Gites (self contained) for which we have been paid. Outside of such assignments however, we DO NOT charge for our house sitting, instead being massive advocates of the fair exchange aspect of house sitting and the ‘Sharing Economy’.


OUR OWN PROPERTY EXPERIENCE -
Over the years we have both owned our own homes as well as multiple investment properties between us. As such we are well used to:
• Caring for and maintaining property
• Chlorine and salt water pools
• Jacuzzis
• Indoor and outdoor plants, gardens, lawns, greenhouses and vegetable gardens
• The responsibility for the general running of a household

We both appreciate the importance and value of owning a home, possessions and pets.


YOUR PRIVACY & SECURITY –
With our Federal Police & Resort Management backgrounds, security & privacy is of utmost importance for us, and we fully appreciate it is for you as a home owner providing your home & possessions for house sitting. You can be completely assured your home and assets will be completely secure and maintained with us. Natalie held an Australian ‘Top Secret’ security clearance for many years in her Federal Police VIP Protection work.


WHY DO WE LOVE HOUSE SITTING?
Simply put, this is our life & our livelihood!

Our internet based education business has enabled us to break free of any fixed location for work & allowed us to live a full-time 'digital nomadic' lifestyle since early 2013... a lifelong dream for both of us!

97% of our time has been spent house sitting since we left our previous fixed location of Dubai in 2013, and we have absolutely loved every minute of it. To us, experiencing back-to-back house sits with absolute ease since we started really shows us that we living our heartfelt purpose... and it certainly feels that way.

We envisage living this lifestyle for many years to come, especially since sharing house sitting experiences and tips to inspire others to experience it, has now become the focal point of our business itself.

House sitting is an incredible lifestyle for us, combining so many things we love. We absolutely adore the company of animals to break up our work life and enrich our experience, and enjoy constantly experiencing different locations & people of the world.

Ultimately, we find ourselves at this stage of our lives really desiring to not just travel, but live for periods in different locations around the world for our own enriching experiences and to also facilitate our business ventures.
